The Start for New Journey- Touching Base on the Opti-Greens 50
Today I completed my first week of the 1st Phorm Summer Sprint 8 week Challenge, and I am so excited to see what I can accomplish in the coming weeks.
This week I:
-continued to consume the Opti-Greens 50 morning and night
-incorporated the Level-1 Whey protein in Ice Cream Sandwich to use in my overnight oats and with other meal replacement options.
-Baked a few goodies using the Vegan Power Pro protein powder in Chocolate.
-Started incorporating the Phormula-1 and Ignition post workout system
-Started using Megawatt preworkout
AND
-Started incorporating the Micro-Factor multivitamin system and the Full-Mega supplementation
Let’s go into detail a bit more!
OPTI-GREENS 50! I have been taking these going on three weeks. I have noticed an immediate difference in taking these. My biggest problem was craving management. I would crave sweets and once I started, I couldn’t stop. It got to the dramatic point where I would stop by the store on my way home from work to buy crap to eat while driving home.
The day before I started the Opti-Greens 50 I was driving home with an entire loaf of lemon cranberry bread/cake and was eating it by the handful. I went and did my usual OrageTheory workout that evening..... and I felt like shit! I felt so bad and could not perform athletically in the way that I knew that I could. I was disappointed in myself.
After discussing things with my husband and finally coming clean that I was struggling in such a manner, we were thinking about the reasoning. I was thinking about what could possibly be the reasoning behind everything. One big thought was “maybe my body was trying to fill a void. Trying to get nutrition that it was not getting otherwise.” So I jumped and purchased the Opti-Greens. And ever since the very first time drinking it, the cravings were gone and I felt such a sense of peace. And I have felt that way since!
One more thing that I want to briefly touch base on with this post is the Level-1 protein. It is a meal replacement protein that is slow absorbing. It is meant to fill the gap in diets where there my not be other options. When I workout in the morning and then have to go to work, I have been making overnight oats and making different flavors and such that I can eat while I am on my way to work. This protein is delicious and keeps me very full throughout the morning.
So far, in this journey, I have really been seeing a difference in my body, my athletic performance, and my health. I plan to post in here a few times per week and post videos along with them. I am hoping that tomorrow I will have an introduction video and a link to my YouTube station where I will post everything.
Once I figure out posting pictures on here using my IPad, I will get some pictures up of my starting pictures and such. Good Night! I plan to post recipes and other good things. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know!
